About us

Hi, I’m Emma, the proud founder of Take the Lead QT, established in early 2021. With a deep-rooted passion for animals, nurtured from growing up on a farm, I’ve dedicated my career to providing top-notch care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I currently work with over 80 dogs each week, tailoring my services to meet the unique needs of each pup.

I’m fully qualified in pet first aid and continuously expand my skills to ensure the best possible care for your furry friends. My goal is to grow Take the Lead QT into the leading dog care service, while maintaining the strong relationships I've built with both dogs and their owners. I believe that trust and connection are at the heart of exceptional pet care, and I’m committed to providing a safe, loving, and fun environment for every dog in my care.

I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged companions!

Olivia

Liv has been part of the team since April ‘22 and has stepped into the role with the same admiration and love for all of the pups. She loves nothing more than capturing the hearts of your furry friends and taking them in adventures to bring joy to their days! Having prior experience working in doggy day cares in Australia she’s moved across the pond and is now stepped up to management here in TTL. Working together we ensure that the best possible care if provided for your pets. We know they aren’t just pets, they’re family.

Olivia is also fully Pet First Aid trained.

Roxy

In May 2024, we welcomed Roxy to the team.

Roxy is a dedicated and passionate professional dog walker with previous experience at Mad Dogs & Englishmen Australia. Hailing from the countryside of rural England, Roxy's love for animals and the great outdoors has been ingrained from a young age.

Growing up in a family deeply involved in gun dog training, Roxy was surrounded by a lively pack that currently includes six working Labrador Retrievers, one working Cocker Spaniel, and two Jack Russell Terriers. Her journey with dogs began early, and at the age of 14, she successfully trained her first Labrador and competed in trials for the Lincolnshire Gun Dog Society.

With a wealth of hands-on experience and an innate understanding of canine behavior, Roxy brings both expertise and compassion to her role. She is also fully Pet First Aid trained. Whether leading a spirited pack on a countryside adventure or providing personalized care for individual pets, Roxy's dedication ensures a joyful and safe experience for every dog in her care.
