Hi I’m Emma, founder of Take the Lead QT.
Having looked after Queenstown’s pups for many years, I decided to go all in, in early 2021 to establish Take the Lead and I haven’t looked back! Now working with over 50 dogs per week I care for each as if they were my own. I am qualified in Pet First Aid and have a wide background of caring for animals having grown up on a farm. I strive every day to keep learning more training skills and adapting my work to each dogs needs. I want to establish relationships that will last a lifetime between yourself and your pets to continue to build Take the Lead QT to be one big fluffy family!
Olivia
Liv has been part of the team since April ‘22 and has stepped into the role with the same admiration and love for all of the pups. She loves nothing more than capturing the hearts of your furry friends and taking them in adventures to bring joy to their days! Having prior experience working in doggy day cares in Australia she’s moved across the pond and is now stepped up to management here in TTL. Working together we ensure that the best possible care if provided for your pets. We know they aren’t just pets, they’re family.
Olivia is also fully Pet First Aid trained.
Louisa
In late 2023 we welcomes Louisa to the team. Having worked in Norway for 2 years working and training Alaskan Huskies she has great knowledge of dogs of all ages and temperaments and knows how to work with a pack!
